I play regularly and occasionally compete in local tournaments. It's the only sport that makes my brain shut up for a couple of hours.
For the past few years I've worked independently with clients, taking full ownership of products from early technical decisions to long-term maintenance. I'm just as comfortable bringing that same ownership and systems thinking to a team.
Outside of work, I read research papers for fun, compete in tennis tournaments, and obsess over details most people wouldn't notice.
